House Rules

1          Users of the courts in the Badminton Facility must:

​

(a)        wear badminton shoes (non-marking shoes) when using the courts;

​

(b)        handle and use the equipment provided (including but not limited to nets, net posts and mats) with care;

​

(c)        not damage any part of the Wyse Active Hub; and

​

(d)        use all amenities in the Wyse Active Hub with due care.

Users are responsible for any damage caused by failure to observe the rules in paragraph 3 and will have to make good any damage caused.

2          In the case of bookings by individuals, the person booking the courts in the Badminton Facility is responsible for ensuring that all their guests observe the etiquette set out in paragraph 3. In the case of bookings by badminton academies, corporates or other groups, the contracting party (that is, the badminton academies, corporates or other groups) is responsible for ensuring that all their guests observe the etiquette set out in paragraph 3.

3          The following etiquette must be observed at all times:

​

(a)        The Wyse Active Hub facilities must be used responsibly.

​

(b)        All users of the Wyse Active Hub must be dressed appropriately in proper badminton and fitness attire.

​

(c)        No eating or drinking (other than bottled water) is permitted in the Wyse Active Hub except in the designated areas. However, bottled water may be consumed in the Wyse Active Hub.

​

(d)        All users of the Wyse Active Hub are expected to keep the areas they use clean. Trash must be disposed of in the bins provided. Liquid spills must be wiped down.

​

(e)        Smoking, vaping, consumption of alcohol, drugs or any other controlled or illegal substances in the Wyse Active Hub is not permitted. 

​

(f)         All users must treat Wyse Active Hub staff and other users with respect.  Offensive language, aggressive/abusive behaviour/conduct or language to Wyse Active Hub staff and other users is not permitted.

​

(g)        No theft or stealing is permitted.

​

(h)        No harassment of Wyse Active Hub staff or other users (includes, but is not limited to verbal, physical, and sexual harassment) is permitted.

4          Users who breach the etiquette set out in paragraph 3 will be handed to the relevant authorities and/or barred from using the Wyse Active Hub facilities. Wyse Active reserves the right to issue temporary to lifetime bans to any user for breach of these Terms and Conditions.

5          Please note that for security and safety purposes, various parts of the Wyse Active Hub are monitored by CCTV. To report misconduct or abuse by another user, you can speak to our team at the front office or email us at info@wyseactive.com.

6          Kindly note that photographs and/or videos of the hub may be taken for publicity and marketing purposes. This may include pictures and/or videos of you and/or other users/ participants. By using the Wyse Active Hub, you consent to the use of your photograph, voice, likeness, and image in any broadcasts and subsequent productions drawn from video or audio recordings. The pictures and recordings may be published or broadcasted in the official website and affiliates' publications and publicity materials, including websites, YouTube channels and social media. All recordings, articles, quotes, photographs, films, audio or video and/or any reproductions of same in any form are the property of Wyse Active and its affiliates, employees, representatives and agents are released from any and all claims, demands, costs and liability that may arise from the use of these interviews, recordings, photographs, videotapes or films, and/or any reproductions of the same in any form, as described above, arising out of being interviewed, recorded, photographed, videotaped or filmed.

If users do not wish to have their photos or audiovisual recordings taken at the event, they must remove themselves from the group and candid shots/recordings that the photographers/videographers intend to capture.

7          Wyse Active reserves the right to impose further rules and make rulings/determinations on the use of the Wyse Active Hub at any time.  Your continued use of the Wyse Active Hub shall be considered to be your acceptance of these rules.
